    1. Stand with your feet shoulder-width apart.
    2. Hold a dumbbell in one hand, with your arm extended down.
    3. Place your opposite hand on your thigh for support.
    4. Keeping your back straight, curl the dumbbell up towards your shoulder.
    5. Squeeze your bicep at the top of the movement.
