Our Story

The first version of Exercise Timer was developed in June 2013. It was a solution to a problem faced by the founder, Melvin Zammit. Back then, he challenged himself to get fit and started performing regular HIIT workouts using a stopwatch. Needless to say, having to start a stopwatch every interval was a workout on it's own. Exercise Timer was developed to solve this problem and have an interval timer app which allows you to be hands free during a workout and not worry about the timing.

Through the years lots of new features were added to Exercise Timer. Feedback sent by users is read daily and used to continue improving Exercise Timer and cater for individual needs.

Love this app! I use it to time physical therapy routines, yoga sequences, and other exercises. I also use it as a pomodoro timer for work. It syncs with my Samsung smartwatch as well---score! 🤗

This app is perfect for building your own workout. Very nice user interface. Easy to use with tons of options, there are ads but in a very subtle amount that makes it blend in your use. Very recommended for those who know what they want their workout to be.

I haven't found an app that gives you more control over workout timings than this. You can dictate time and repetition based workouts as precisely as you like. And now it has an even more polished UI and backup features! It's pretty much perfect in my eyes!

One of the best training apps I've ever used. U can create ur own training, weekplan and so... So many opportunity and easy to use. I love it

Perfect timer app for yoga, stretching or any other exercises. Customisable number of repetitions, hold time, rest time etc. I use it for my back pain physio exercises and it has saved me from counting the exercises and timings.
